Game Ready allows our Angels to help young girls that need our support, giving them encouragement and helping them feel better about themselves.

ABOUT US

We are based in Langley, British Columbia, Canada. We help in our Community as well as our surrounding communities, helping wherever and whenever we can.

Our Angels volunteer their time to programs like; Game Ready, helping young girls feel good about themselves and in the Langley Schools keeping kids going with soup, lunches and granola bars. Helping local Churches make sandwiches to feed the less fortunate and working closely with High Schools to make sure every grad has a suit or a dress for graduation. We also work together to help Seniors in our community who find it hard living from check to check.

We coordinate the collection and delivery of clothing, household items, non-perishable food, baby necessities, kid’s toys, school supplies, shelter and other basics for struggling families and individuals – often hand delivering necessities directly. We are involved in fundraising activities and food drives contributing to organizations like Best Babies, Langly District Schools, the Gateway of Hope, local food banks, and church outreach programs.

We know that helping people in a positive way allows individuals and families to change their life story. All it takes is a community coming together to help by giving a hand up instead of a handout. We can work together as a community of caring, loving and understanding people who know they make a difference

In BC POVERTY IS ON THE RISE

Poverty is on the Rise in British Columbia, more people are now living below the poverty line than ever before. Our Government has no poverty reduction plan and our child poverty rate is the highest in Canada.

British Columbia Government has no poverty reduction plan even as we reach epic levels of homelessness in British Columbia. Despite being one of the wealthiest Provinces in the country, 10.7 percent of the population lives in poverty.

We know that taking the lead and showing that helping those that are less fortunate in our communities with food, clothing, housing, and basic essentials is not just needed but necessary.

Kimz Angels are made up of many individuals who have come together for the purpose of Making a Difference in our communities. Many businesses have supported and continue to support us and share our belief that together we can make a difference.

Lets Work TOGETHER

If we all say we can’t do this and we can’t do that – no one does it. There is no reason for anyone in a rich country like Canada to be going hungry or to be homeless! It’s better to give than to receive and there are those of us who have so much to give. If you would like to be one of us – a Kimz Angel – you too could donate or volunteer your time. Don’t close your eyes to what is happening right here in your own backyard.
